April News from Live Edge Design: Clever, creative, communal tables

New product design, new projects and more from oneTree

April has come and gone in the blink of an eye...we've been working up a sawdust storm! Earlier this year I began to imagine and shape in my mind dining tables for our commercial clients that would not only be aesthetically pleasing but also be clever in their usefulness.  It's an incredible feeling to see my imaginings come to life....I'll be in Vegas this week to launch them. Check out our facebook page - Dorothy and I will post selfies of our Vegas adventure!  - John Lore, Owner and President @ Live Edge Design

Scooch

The table that moves to accommodate you.

This is the unfolding table that can seat two intimately or a crowd of 12 (or anything in between). Busy restaurants and coffee shops can expand capacity, react to many different groups of customers without having to drag or rearrange furniture. A sleek experience. Solid walnut top and steel construction base create strength and support.

Pirouette

This piece is named for it's base design. The legs are shaped in such a way that mounted, interchangeable inserts can be added to the communal dining experience. We've developed sunken ice wells for wine or oysters, a warming plate, a power and data port, and a flashing LiteUp menu board.
The incredibly clever thing about this design (other than the flashing lights bit) is that it can be made to absolutely any length.

New collaborative project

John Lore of Live Edge Design and Yves St Hilaire of Sticks+Stones have joined forces to create an exceptional table for the communal dining movement. A perfect fusion of wood, concrete and metal; The Kawa Table.

The word 'Kawa' means river in Japanese.

Solid slabs of Western Maple are parted by a river of concrete and mounted on a thoughtful steel base. Designed for seated diners or standing conversationalists. Friends or strangers will come together and the conversation will flow.
