oneTree 2017 opens, latest creations, and Santas workshop is back in action
A HUMBLING EXPERIENCE
This week I had the pleasure of attending the Artists Gala and the opening day of oneTree 2017. It was very humbling and amazing to be in the presence of so many great artists and pieces all inspired and created from a single being. Shall we call the Guiness record people? This is likely the greatest variety of items ever made from one tree. Not the greatest quantity of items, that likely belongs to a large Birch tree which may render as many as 10 million toothpicks! For my part, with our dining suite, I hope to have started a new design trend “West Coast Modern”- a fusion of “Mid Century Modern” and ”West Coast Natural” styles. Thanks to our all of the Live Edge staff who helped in drafting, building and finishing both the dining suite and our Door, “Sentinel”. Special thanks to our collaborators on the door; Ancient Art of Stone.

This year, the largest project we'll be working on is a series of dining tables and benches for a local elementary school who have created a teaching kitchen and dining room from an un-used computer lab and a lot of love.
Stay tuned to our facebook page to see what else the elves get up to...
