Katie has such a gift with design...she takes a rough concept and turns into a working drawing. This take serious sketching skills and lots of determination. Katie will always find a way to make a design work - giant tables that appear to float on air (phantom bar table) and tables that actually float in the air. This sounds like a fun, exciting job but it also high pressure, every dimension and detail has to be triple checked for accuracy, strength and stability.
Katie describes herself as happy, laid-back and creative. She is the originator of the back support arc in our Rainforest chair and the epicentre of our design team.
