Hollow log bench

We often come across interestingly shaped chunks of maple trees that do not lend themselves to being turned into a slab but rather a stunningly unique piece of furniture. We call them 'Funky Chunks' and give them the full Live Edge treatment, often with glass inlays, metal stand off posts or caps, and exceptional finish.

The piece pictured is made from the hollow section of a maple log and measures 48" l x 18" w x 18" h.
